Advanced Lincoln Douglas Debate

Service Description

Mondays 4:30pm PST - 6:30pm PST This is the top level debate course geared to students who already know the fundamentals of competitive debate. Students can expect independent research, advanced topic analysis, case writing, learning basic philosophical concepts, and honing ‘in-round’ debate strategy. The course is meant to be a multi-year endeavor and will continually challenge and expand on concepts as students progress. Advanced LD will focus on the current National Debate topic. The course prepares students for tournaments on this subject and students will have a higher workload as a result.
